Uni-directional Interfacing

One-way communication from the analyzer to the host computer is uni-directional interfacing. Results of the samples analyzed on the analyzer are transferred to the host computer. InterLink software receives and saves the test results data to database or files. Barcoding the samples is optional for uni-directional interfacing.

Uni-directional Process

1) Run individual samples manually by entering Sample ID, demographic information & selecting the required tests on the Analyzer.

2) After the sample analysis has completed on the analyzer, test result data from the analyzer will be received/captured by InterLink software.

Bi-directional Interfacing

Two-way communication between the analyzer and the host computer is bi-directional interfacing. Barcoding the samples is mandatory for bi-directional communication. Analyzer identifies each sample by scanning its barcode. InterLink software matches the barcode number to send test orders to the analyzer and it also receives the test results from the analyzer to host computer. InterLink software reads and saves data from database or files.

Bi-directional Process

1) Load the barcoded samples in the analyzer tray/rack for analysis.

2) InterLink software will communicate with the analyzer to send the test selection orders and demographic information to the analyzer for each barcoded sample. On receiving the orders, analyzer performs the analysis of the samples automatically.

3) After the sample analysis has completed on the analyzer, test result data from the analyzer will be received/captured by InterLink software.
