1. What is Analyzer Interfacing?

Interfacing is the process in which any laboratory analyzer/instrument would be inter-connected to a Laboratory Information Management Software (LIMS). The purpose of inter-connection (known as interfacing) is to automate the process of data exchange (viz. test orders & results) between the analyzer & LIMS.

2. What is InterLink?

InterLink is a desktop software application which connects to the analyzer and manages the exchange of data between analyzer and LIMS.

3. What is Unidirectional and Bidirectional?

A one-way transfer of results from the analyzer to the computer, is known as "Uni-directional interfacing". Whereas a two-way communication – transfer of results from the analyzer to the computer and transfer of test orders from the computer to the analyzer is known as "Bi-directional interfacing".

4. Which analyzers are available?

We have done interfacing of almost all analyzers. Take a look at the Analyzers List. Any other analyzer not mentioned in the list can also be interfaced on request.

5. How can I buy InterLink software?

To buy the software, you can send us an inquiry with your details. Our sales representative will contact you and provide necessary details. Wherever feasible, we accept online payments and software is also delivered online from download links.

6. Does one InterLink software connect to all the Analyzers?

No. InterLink is a desktop application designed specially according to the communication protocol of each analyzer, so it connects to one analyzer at a time. Thus, for each analyzer there is a corresponding InterLink application. For example: if 5 analyzers are interfaced then there will be 5 separate InterLink applications; however multiple InterLink applications can run on one (or multiple) computer(s) as per requirements.

7. How is InterLink Licensed?

InterLink software is licensed per copy of the analyzers that are interfaced.
